Terms of service
Last updated 21 October 2026
The short version: the site is free and offered as is. Be decent, don't attack or abuse it, and keep your password safe, because there's no way to reset it.
About these terms
These terms cover your use of drew-gnr.xyz ("Drew's Realm"), including Atlas, the Catalogue and Code. The site is run by Drew, an individual in the UK, as a free, non-commercial project. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
How personal data is handled is explained in the privacy policy.
Using the site
You're welcome to use the site for learning and personal use. Please don't:
- attack, overload, probe for vulnerabilities in, or try to break into the site, its server or other people's accounts;
- use bots, scripts or scrapers to create accounts, sign in, submit reports or inflate XP and leaderboard positions;
- get around rate limits, Cloudflare Turnstile or any other protection;
- use the site, the Playground, problem reports or the message bubble to send spam, malware, or unlawful, abusive or hateful content.
If you've found a security problem, please tell me through the message bubble rather than exploiting it.
Code accounts
- Accounts are optional and free. Everything works without one.
- You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password safe. No email is collected, so a lost password can't be reset and the account can't be recovered.
- Your username is public on the leaderboard and your profile. Don't choose one that is offensive, impersonates someone else, or contains personal information you'd rather keep private.
- I may rename, reset or remove accounts, leaderboard entries or progress that break these terms or look automated, without notice.
- You can ask me to delete your account at any time. See the privacy policy.
Content and ownership
The site's lessons, quizzes, text, design and code are my work unless stated otherwise. The source code is published under the licence in the site's LICENSE file. Unless that licence gives you more rights, you may use the content for your own learning, but please don't republish it wholesale, and don't use it to train AI models.
Code you write in lessons or the Playground stays in your browser and is yours. Problem reports you send can be used by me to fix and improve the site.
Accuracy
I try to keep lessons and quiz answers correct, but mistakes happen and things go out of date. Don't rely on the site as your only source for exams, work or anything important. If you spot an error, use the report button or the message bubble.
Other sites and services
The Catalogue and other pages link to tools, subdomains and sites that are run separately, as well as GitHub and Discord. Their own terms and policies apply, and I'm not responsible for third-party sites.
Availability and changes
The site runs on my own hardware. It may be slow, unavailable or changed, and features (including accounts and progress) may be removed at any time. I'll try to give notice before shutting down accounts, but I can't guarantee it.
No warranty and liability
The site is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, including lost progress or data.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms. The current version will always be on this page with its "last updated" date. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales, although if you live elsewhere in the UK you can also bring proceedings in your home courts.
